I have a Labrador and I love him so much. But as much as I love my baby, the dog odor is something I am not a huge fan of. In the beginning I struggled with this concern so I simply asked my neighbour how to remove dog smell from room. He had some valuable tips for me which I believe made quite a difference. So the idea is to get rid of dog odor. For that the first thing is to focus on your dog’s hygiene. Thankfully Labby loves to stay in water and enjoys the whole bathing and grooming sessions. So that is taken care of in our case. 

If you have a dog, make sure that they are healthy, well fed, bathed and groomed. In fact, if they have trouble pooping or you feel they are experiencing some discomfort, take them to the vet. Healthy dogs don’t smell that much.

These are the other steps that you can follow:

• Vacuum clean your house properly

• Mop your floor with a floor cleaner at least twice

• Wash the bedding and linens of your bed and your pet’s bed

• Let the fresh air enter your room

• Spray room air freshener or a dog odor remover
