My friend said that removing carpet glue from a floor can be a bit challenging, but it's certainly doable with the right approach. She suggested me to use a commercial adhesive remover;
Test beforehand in a discrete location.
On the carpet glue, generously apply a commercial adhesive remover.
Give the mixture five to ten minutes to seep into the adhesive.
With a putty knife, carefully remove the carpet glue.
Use water and soap to clean the area.
If required, repeat steps 2 through 5
