Drain the tank, then use a scrub brush to physically remove algae from the tank's surfaces.

Mix a solution of chlorine bleach and water (1:10 ratio), apply it to the algae-covered areas, and let it sit for a few hours before rinsing.

Add food-grade hydrogen peroxide to the tank (follow the recommended dosage) to kill algae, then scrub and rinse.

Create a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:4 ratio), apply it to the algae, scrub, and rinse thoroughly.

Make a paste of baking soda and water, scrub the tank, and then rinse to remove algae.
