How Do I Make an MSEB Bill Payment by Cheque?
Here is the MSEB payment process by cheque that I followed.
First, I wrote the cheque in the name of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd.
Then, put the current date on it, but keep it at least 3 days before the due date, just to give the bank enough time to clear it.
I ensured the cheque was not post-dated and used a local bank cheque, since they don’t accept outstation ones.
I filled in the amount carefully, both in numbers and words, and of course, signed it properly.
On the back, write down your name, consumer number, billing unit number, and mobile number, just in case they need to reach me.
Finally, I double-checked everything and dropped the cheque in the MSEB drop box at the local office.
After that, I checked the status online at the
