To update the vehicle number on the e-way bill, here is what you will need to do:
Visit the
e-way bill portal
Log in with your credentials next
Tap on the e-way bill and select Update Part B/Vehicle
Enter the bill number and tap on Go
Fill in all the details as asked for and tap on submit
Your bill will get modified next
Update Transporter ID on E-Way Bill

Select Update EWB Transporter under the e-way bill tab
