How to make a study room?

The study room is an important place for students and it is a place where you need your prime focus. Since kids and teenagers spend most of their time learning, memorizing, and practicing for their exams, I can share some details on how to make a study room. I have passed the student life and now I take care of my niece and help her study from time to time. I observe what will help her to increase her focus. So, here are the three important tips which are crucial for making a study room.

How to make a study room?

1. Privacy

The study room should be located in a place that is aloof from other parts of the room. In house family members often talk on the phone or play loud music which can create a distraction. We tend to get distracted looking at our phones while studying which is harmful. So always keep your phone away while you are reading.

2. Good Lighting

Nowadays, we spend our time not only reading books that are available physically but also reading PDFs or online material. Now, without proper lighting, the eyes get strained and after a long time, we may develop power in the eyes. This has happened to me while I was preparing for my online exams during Covid and I developed mild power. So, I immediately took the initiative to fix the lighting of my study room.

3. Stay Organized

A cluttered space can easily distract someone. If you are someone who is studying currently please take out 10 mins of your time and organize your books, computer,  and other materials required to study such as a pen or pencil. I was lazy during my school days and as I was not organized I would always lose the books when I needed them the most. I stopped doing it after a while and my life became pretty smooth.
