When a developer avails a loan for a project (Let’s say an apartment complex with multiple apartments), then, as per RBI’s guidelines, each sale can take place only after the lending financial institution/bank issues a NOC specifying it does not have any objection. In case there are multiple lenders, then NOCs are needed from each. So, I suggest you ask for NOCs from your builder. If he does not show that, then it means something is wrong.
