• Termites feel welcome in excessive moisture. Keep the moisture at bay and buy dehumidifiers and try to keep everything dry.

• Get rid of the clutter. If you have any old newspapers, magazines, cardboard, etc. just throw them out.

• Use borate before painting the wood or walls. It will prevent it from termites for years

• If nothing seems to work, call for professional help.
