For leather:

Swab off all the fungus from the leather items and wipe it clean with a rag soaked in vinegar. Let it air dry.

For clothes:

Fill a bucket with hot water and a cup of white vinegar and soak fungus-infected clothes in it. You can also add vinegar into your washing machine to eliminate the musty smell from linens and clothes.

My father uses a different method:

He sprinkles baking soda onto a fungus patch and then sprays a mixture of two cups of hot water and 1 tsp of baking soda directly on the fungus. He lets it sit for 60 minutes before scrubbing with a brush and rinsing off the residue. Finally, he sprays vinegar to prevent regrowth.
