Let me tell you how to get rental agreement online? You can get a rental agreement online in India through platforms like eDrafter, which simplify the process and deliver a legally valid document (on stamp paper or e-stamp) to your doorstep.

  • First, you visit the platform’s rental agreement page. You will see options such as a draft agreement or a complete agreement with stamp / legal formalities.

  • You choose the version you want. Next, you fill an online form with all essential details: landlord & tenant names, addresses, property description, rent amount, security deposit, lease duration, rights & obligations, etc.

  • After you review the draft and verify all clauses, you make the payment for the service. The service provider then sends you a draft (often via email) for final approval, and upon confirmation, they dispatch the agreement printed on stamp paper (or e-stamp) to your address.

  • In some states, you may get the option of e-stamp paper rather than physical stamp paper, which is more secure and verifiable online. Also, the online service may offer additional features like notary attestation, registration (if lease term exceeds 11 months), or consultancy.
