How to get a contractors license?

A contractor's license is issued by the Public Works Department in India. The contractor's license is issued to the construction company. Obtaining a contractor license will open up many doors for you and it will help you get many big government as well as private projects related to buildings, roads, bridges, flyover construction, etc. If you want to know how to get a contractors license then I can help you. 1. Passport Size Photo

2. Diploma or Degree Certificate

3. Marksheet of SSC/ HSC

4. Marksheet of Final Year Civil Engineer

5. Employment Exchange Card

6. Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

7. PAN Card

The general process is to go to the PWD office in your area and ask them for the application form for contractors license. Fill in the application and attach the above mentioned documents.

In about two weeks time you will get the status of your application and if everything checks out perfectly, you will be granted the application.
