How to Repair Door Stopper?
To replace the broken door stopper, you first need to unscrew the screws using a screwdriver. You can also remove the screws with your hands. Once you do so, carefully take out the stopper from the door.
If possible, buy a stopper of the same size as your previous stopper from the hardware store. A good way to find the right size match is to first remove the broken door stopper and then take it to the hardware store.
Now, you need to fit in the new stopper. If you find a matching size stopper with the holes for the screws matching the existing points, just fit the stopper by aligning the screws with the door holes. Then, screw tight the stopper with new screws using a screwdriver. Check the movement and working of the stopper.
In case the size doesn’t match. Place the new stopper in front of the door and mark the places to drill holes. Now, use a drilling machine and drill two holes into the door. Place the stopper in front of the door and use a screwdriver to place in the screws and tighten them in place.
