Leakage in the water cooler occurs due to leakage in the bottle, spout or cooler tank. If there is a leakage in the bottle you need to remove it and install a new one. How to fix water cooler leaking?

You will need

• 120-grit sandpaper

• Plastic epoxy

• Epoxy-spreading tool

1. Firstly you need to check thoroughly where the leakage has occurred. Check the cooler thoroughly and find the source of the leak. Empty the water cooler and disconnect the cooler from the power source. Disconnect the water cooler from the tap if it is connected with the tap as well.

2. Now if you find the leak you need to understand if it is inside the cooler. 

3. Take 120-grit sandpaper and sand the area.

4. Wipe the area after sanding and remove the underlying dirt and residue.

5. Now, you need to apply plastic epoxy before applying, and ensure that the area is thoroughly dry.

6. Apply the epoxy and also use an epoxy spreading tool to cover the area. Let the epoxy dry overnight at least for 8-12 hours.

7. Smooth down the epoxy using 120-grit sandpaper and flush with the plastic cooler around it. Wash the tank thoroughly before refilling the cooler with water.

1. If there is a leakage in the sprout you can try tightening it. If this doesn't work you will need to replace your sprout. To change the sprout you can refer to the manual.
