Here is how to do wet service of split AC;
First, switch off the AC and unplug the power supply. Safety is very important.
Open the front panel of the indoor unit carefully. Remove the air filters and keep them aside for washing.
Next, open the display PCB cover and remove the display board safely. Keep it away from water. Now, remove the front panel.
After that, loosen the locks and remove both horizontal louvers. Open the middle panel by removing the screws. Once you remove the middle panel, the indoor unit will be fully visible.
Cover the PCB box and motor area with a polythene bag. This step prevents water damage. After that, fix the AC service jacket tightly around the indoor unit.
Make sure the jacket is sealed from all sides to stop water leakage. Place the funnel part of the jacket into a bucket so the dirty water collects properly.
Adjust the jet pump pressure and start washing the cooling coil. Move the jet spray evenly over the coil to clean all fins without damage.
Clean the blower carefully to remove dust. Keep checking the bucket and empty it when needed. Do not allow water to enter the electronic parts.
After cleaning, wipe the middle panel with a clean cloth and fix it back using screws and caps. Reconnect all wires properly.
Install the display board and fix the front panel. Put the cleaned filters back in place.
Finally, clean the outer body with a cloth and fix the horizontal louvers. Switch on the AC and check if it's working. The wet service is now complete.
