How to Clean Kitchen Baskets?
Here are the steps that you can follow to clean your kitchen baskets:
Begin by removing all the items from the baskets.
Rinse the baskets with warm water to get rid of any loose debris or food particles.
Now, take a bowl and mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water. You can alternatively use a specialised stainless steel cleaner.
Apply the prepared mix on the baskets using a soft-bristled brush or a sponge.
Use a sponge or a brush to gently scrub the baskets. Focus more on the regions with buildup or stains. Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the baskets.
Then you must rinse the baskets again using water to remove soap residue. Make sure that no traces of soap are left behind.
With a microfibre cloth in hand, dry the baskets well. Don’t air-dry, as that can lead to water spots or streaks on the surface.
If you wish to have extra shine, apply olive oil or a specialised stainless steel polish. Apply a bit of polish to a microfibre cloth and buff the surface in circular motions until it shines.
You can then reassemble all the items and the components.
