How can I Clean Marble Floors?
I first thought it’d be tricky, but turns out it’s quite simple with the right approach. Here’s what my cousin suggested.
She said to use a soft broom or a microfiber mop to sweep away dust and dirt. This prevents scratches caused by tiny debris when mopping.
As my cousin suggested, in a bucket of warm water, I mixed a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid (no harsh chemicals). Avoid acidic cleaners like vinegar or lemon—they can damage the marble’s surface.
Dip a soft mop into the solution, wring it well, and gently clean the floors. Don’t drench the floor; excess water can seep in and harm the marble.
After mopping, rinse with plain water to remove soap residue.
Finally, she asked me to use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the floor.
For stubborn stains, as my cousin said, I mix baking soda and water into a paste, apply it to the stain, and let it sit for a few hours before rinsing. This trick made my marble floor look great. I hope this helps you understand how do you clean marble floors.

Being a mother of 2, I can say that marble can easily get dirty with kids around, and it requires special care to keep it looking pristine. So if you want to know how to clean white marble floor, I can share the steps that I follow to keep my marble floors clean.
How to Clean Dirty Marble Floor?
The steps that I follow are as follows,
I start by gathering a bucket, warm water, two teaspoons of baking soda, dishwashing liquid, a soft mop, and a microfiber cloth.
In the bucket of warm water, I mix 2 teaspoons of baking soda with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. I prefer using Prill dishwashing liquid. This combination is gentle yet effective for marble.
Next, I gently wipe the marble floor after dipping the soft mop into the cleaning solution and completely wringing it out. It's crucial to refrain from over soaking the stone.
After this, I use the cleaning solution to mop, and then I fill the bucket with fresh, warm water. To get rid of any last bits of residue from the baking soda and dishwashing liquid mixture, I wipe the floor one more.
Finally, I immediately dry the floor with a microfiber cloth to prevent water spots and maintain the marble's shine.
To keep my marble floors looking their best, I clean them twice a week using this method. This marble floors how to clean routine helps maintain their shine and ensures my home stays clean.

How Do I Clean Marble Floors?
This is the process you can follow to clean your marble floors.
For cleaning any type of floor, always start by removing the dust and dirt sticking to the flooring using a dry mop.
After you’re done, take a bucket and mix warm water and a mild, neutral pH soap. I recommend going through the label of the soap to know the mixing ratio.
Take another bucket and fill it with clean water. Dip a mop in the cleaning solution you made and wring it properly.
Start mopping the floor by working in a small area and rinsing the mop in short intervals. This will help in removing dirt.
Once you’re done with one area, dip the mop in the other bucket containing clean water and rinse the floor to remove the cleaning solution. This will prevent the floor from turning yellow.
