  • A Hot Water Spray: The mildest cleanser for tile grout is a warm water spray. Simply mist the tiled surface with water and scrub the grout lines with a soft bristle brush. Using a dry cloth, wipe the surface. 
  • Vinegar and Water: Using a solution of equal parts vinegar and water, clean the grout lines of dirt and minor stains. Spray the grout lines with a moderate vinegar solution and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Using a hard brush, scrub the grout. 
  • Baking Soda and Vinegar: One of the most common home cures for removing stubborn stains from tile grout is baking soda. Making a mixture of baking soda and water and applying it to the grout lines is the first step. Then spritz the baking soda paste with a combination of equal parts vinegar and warm water. Rinse well with warm water.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide: Spray hydrogen peroxide on the grout lines to eliminate dirt and stains if the tile grout has moderate stains. Scrub with a bristle brush, then rinse and wipe with warm water. You can also use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to produce a paste. Apply it to the tile grout right away and let it sit for a while. Using a brush, clean the grout lines. I loved watching this. But after years of moving into the house, I realised it can be a difficult task to clean these grouts. Yes, the grout that is used to fill gaps between tiles can accumulate a lot of dust, grime and mould which can eventually change the colour of the grout and make it really dull-looking. I can tell you all that I know about how do you clean grout between floor tiles. If you spill something on your tile floor, it can be absorbed by the grout. Because grout is a porous material that is why it easily absorbs stains. But there are many ways in which you can clean this grout. I will tell you about it.

How do I clean grout between floor tiles?

  1. Before you start the cleaning process, sweep the tile floor or vacuum it.
  2. Then make a solution of vinegar and water in a 1:2 ratio and spray this solution on the grout.
  3. Leave the solution on the grout for a good 5-10 minutes and then scrub the floor with a stiff brush.
  4. Then rinse the floor with clean water and dry it up with a clean cloth.
  5. However, if there are still some stains on the grout, then apply commercial grout cleaner on the grout and scrub the floor.
  6. Then again rinse the floor and dry it up with a clean cloth.
