Sprinkle a good amount of baking soda on the stained region and let it sit overnight.
Then, take your vacuum cleaner and move it around the region where you’ve sprinkled the soda.
Follow it up using a pea-sized drop of washing liquid to blot the stain.
Then, take a towel and fresh water to quickly blot up the soapy water. Don’t rub, only blot.
Dry the stained region and then add a bit more of the baking soda. Let it sit for around 3 hours and vacuum again to finish.

Start by vacuuming your carpet to get rid of any dirt or dust.
Take baking soda and sprinkle it over the dirty regions.
Use a warm and deep cloth to cover the carpet with baking soda.
Leave it aside for a minimum of one hour. I would recommend you to wait even longer as it gives better results. This helps the baking soda to work over the stains.
Vacuum the carpet once again in the direction of the carpet pile. Do this till all the baking soda is off the carpet.
