You should deep clean your mattress every six months. However, vacuuming it once a month is recommended. The frequency with which you clean your mattress is determined by the factors listed below.

  1. Cleaning once a month will help reduce symptoms if you have allergies, particularly to dust mites.

  2. To control dirt and dander, you will need to clean the bed more frequently if your pets lie on it.

  3. You must wash your mattress every two to three months if you use it every night or frequently eat or drink in bed.

I hope this helps you understand how often should you clean your mattress.

To clean a soiled mattress, you must strip the sheets, blotting the excess liquid, and applying a cleaning solution. Here is how to clean a soiled mattress to remove stains and odors for a cleaner, healthier bed.

  1. Remove all bedding immediately, including the blankets, pillows, mattress protector, and bedsheets.

  2. Now, to get rid of dust mites and bacteria, wash them with hot water.

  3. Vacuum the entire surface thoroughly using your vacuum cleaner's upholstery attachment.

  4. Instead of applying the enzyme mattress solution straight to the mattress, use it on a clean towel.

  5. Blot the dirty area carefully with that towel until the stain disappears. Never scrape the stain since it can spread and worsen.

  6. Let the mattress dry.

  7. Sprinkle baking soda equally across the entire mattress surface.

  8. Allow the baking soda to settle for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for optimal results).

  9. Use the upholstery attachment to vacuum up all of the baking soda thoroughly.

  10. Carefully flip the mattress over and repeat the process.

  11. After cleaning both sides, place the mattress against a wall or open the windows to let it dry.

  12. Finally, put your fresh, clean mattress back on.

These are the steps to clean your soiled mattress. But I am unaware of how often you should clean your mattress. Can anyone tell me?
