I used to check my ration card status when I applied for it. The government issues Ration cards, which contain information on your family's financial situation. Steps on how to check new ration card status in Maharashtra:

1) You must visit the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department of the Maharashtra government at http://mahafood.gov.in/website/english/home.aspx. 

2) Now you have to click on 'Transparency Portal' on the left-hand side of the page.

3) You'll be taken to a new page where you must select 'Allocation Generation Status.'

4) Then click 'Proceed' after entering the information from your ration card.

5) You'll be able to check the status of your application for a ration card.

Benefits of ration card:

1) You can take rationing of lentils, rice, flour, tail, kerosene, sugar, sesame, and other foods via the ration card.

2) You can take advantage of several state offerings with their assistance.

3) When you buy rations with a ration card, you pay less for them.
