I first visited the official website of the Department of Survey and Settlement, Government of Tamil Nadu -

Following that, I selected my district, taluk and village.
As I had the survey number with me, I chose “View Patta/Chitta using Survey Number.”
After that, I chose the land type between Rural and Natham.
I mentioned my survey number and selected the sub division number from the dropdown list.
Finally, I entered the authentication value and submitted it. An online certificate from the Town Survey Land Register including the details of the property was issued to me after the submission. The building type, patta number, and other details of my property were included on the certificate.
