The steps on how to change name in e filing income tax are;
Enter your login information to access the income tax e-filing (
https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login) service.
Choose "My Profile" from the dropdown menu after clicking on your profile photo in the upper right corner.
As an alternative, you can choose the "Update Profile" button, which is seen below.
In the "Profile" section, click the "Edit" button.
Your name, birthdate, gender, PAN, and PAN status will be included in the "Profile" section.
By inputting the updated name, you can make changes to your name.
Additionally, you can change your passport details, citizenship, PAN number, date of birth, and residential status.
