As far as I know, BBMP property tax name change is not possible online now. It was possible earlier because a friend of mine changed her name online for the BBMP property tax. But first, she chose the khata transfer process. But I have checked it now and the khata transfer service is not available online now. So, the name change in BBMP property tax can only be done offline but visiting the BBMP office.

How to do Property Tax Name Change BBMP?
Earlier people could do Khata transfer to change name in property tax.
For the khata transfer, people just needed to visit the
Sakala online services portal.
Then by clicking on the ‘Online Services’ tab on the home page, you will reach the page for BBMP Khata Transfer.
But as of now, if you click on the BBMP Khata Transfer option, it will redirect to a page stating that the service is not available right now.
So, you will have to follow this process for BBMP property tax name change online;
Concerned BBMP Officials are required to make any changes to the Name, Address, or any other Details on BBMP Property Tax Paid Receipts.
Photocopies of your property documents must be submitted to the appropriate BBMP Office. The sale deed, the most recent tax receipt, the Khata certificate, and the request letter are the necessary documents.
Concerned Officials will verify the documents you submit.
The application will be denied if the documents submitted do not match the correction request.
If everything checks out after verification, the information in the Property Tax Paid Receipts will be updated.

If you wish to change your name in the BBMP tax receipt. You will have to submit the following documents to the Commissioner of Revenue.
Receipt of the last paid tax of the property
An attested copy of the Sale Transaction Deed which must show your name
