Hi Buddy, I am a staunch believer in Indian astrology and Vastu Shastra. Honestly speaking, personally, I am not a believer in Chinese Feng Shui. Recently I was going through a financial crisis. Hence, I visited a Vastu expert for getting home remedies to attract money.  I have gone through Sarmana’s answer which was mainly based on Chinese feng shui. However, I felt that there were various factors that were in common with the Indian Vastu principles. The Vastu expert recommended me some remedies and measures regarding How to attract good luck and wealth:
  • In the north Vastu zone, blue should be the dominant colour; red should be avoided, and space should be set aside for the kitchen and toilet. Also, a trash, broom, washing machine, or mixer-grinder should not be placed here. She told me that the kitchen is a symbol of fire, and if I put it incorrectly, then it would wind up wasting money, opportunities, and my career
  • In the north zone, She told me to keep a money plant in a green vase or hang a panorama depicting a rich field or dense woodland. As these would bring in more money and greater job chances. This particular factor I felt was common with the Chinese feng shui as mentioned by Sarmana in her answer
  • She also recommended the usage of pastel tones of red, orange, and pink as the main colour for the kitchen. Also, she mentioned that for a healthy money flow, I need to keep the safety vault, work table, and drawing room in the northern zones
  • She also advised that I decorate the entrance area of my home with religious symbols or an image of a goddess Lakshmi in order to attract money
