Before telling you how to add biller in SBI net banking, let me first tell you about biller. Any business or individual you wish to pay with Bill Pay is a biller. You can also call them a payee. Adding a biller in SBI Net Banking allows you to pay utility bills, loan EMIs, and other payments directly from your bank account. You must first register the biller on the SBI net banking portal in order to pay bills digitally. I have shared the detailed process below for you.

Steps to Add Biller in State Bank of India Net Banking

Here’s a step-by-step guide.

  1. Visit the

    SBI Net Banking

    website.

  2. Enter your Username and Password to log in.

  3. After logging in, click on the ‘e-Services’ tab on the top menu.

  4. Select ‘Bill Payments’ from the drop-down menu.

  5. In the Bill Payments section, click on ‘Manage Biller’.

  6. Then, click on ‘Add Biller’ to begin the process.

  7. From the options available, choose the type of biller (e.g., Electricity, Gas, Mobile, DTH, Loan, etc.) and search for the company or service provider.

  8. Provide the required details, such as the biller’s name, customer ID, bill account number, and other relevant information.

  9. Now, click ‘Submit’.

  10. Review the details and click ‘Confirm’. You will receive an OTP (OneTime Password) for verification.

  11. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click ‘Submit’ to complete the process.

The biller will now be added to your list of payees, and you can start making payments for your bills directly through SBI Net Banking. I hope you found this helpful.
