Last year, during our house shifting, we got a few extra goods loaded in the truck than what was mentioned by us beforehand. They were quite heavy so our packers and movers service providers asked us to tip them for this extra task. I did not find them wrong here; hence, I paid them Rs 1,400. It is thus better to be aware of how much should you tip packers and movers.

Tipping movers and packers will mainly depend on the complexity of work they have done. There is no definite amount set of tips and it solely depends on what you want to pay them. Nowadays, the acceptable amount is around Rs 100 to Rs 150 per mover. Here are some aspects that you can consider before setting the tip amount:
