How long a US citizen can stay in India with OCI?

It is a multipurpose visa that is valid for free to travel to India for a lifetime. US citizens with OCI cards can stay in India for 15 years. In case the OCI cardholder crosses 50 years of his/her age then he needs to get a renewal of his OCI card.    Renewal fees 
  • Fresh OCI: Rs. 4280
  • Lost case OCI: Rs. 1570
  • Miscellaneous services on OCI: Rs. 420
