Here is the process I found.
Choose a spot close to an electrical outlet (with a grounding plug) and a window.
Adjust the window kit to your window's dimensions.
To secure the window kit in place, open the window, put it in, and then close the window.
On both ends of the exhaust hose, install the hose fittings and hose outlet beforehand.
Attach the hose's other ends to the window kit adapter and the portable air conditioner, respectively.
You can attach a drain line and set it in an appropriate drain area if your portable air conditioner has a continuous drainage system.
Connect the air conditioner to an electrical outlet that is appropriate for it.
Finally, after turning it on, choose the settings you want.
