I recently applied for my occupancy certificate. If you are wondering how to get an occupancy certificate, let me share the steps.
Go to the official BBMP website (
https://bbmp.gov.in/home).
Click on the “Online Services” option on the home page.
Select “Submission of Building Application” and log in using your username and password.
Choose the “Occupancy” tab and then click on “Building Completion.”
When asked, “Do you have a DPMS online building permit number?”, click “Yes.”
Enter your DPMS file number and click on “Find.”
Check all details carefully. If everything is correct, click “Save and Continue.”
If you don’t have a DPMS online building permit number, select “No” in Step 5.
Fill in the required details in the application form to generate a new file number.
Go to “New Proposal”, upload all the required plans and documents under “Report.”
Create an acknowledgement number or file name and send an SMS from your registered mobile number.
