For SRA project which documents is required for eligible?

The Slum Rehabilitation Authority offers SRA flats to people who dwell in slums. Slums are very common in Mumbai. If you have seen movies such as Slumdog Millionaire you will know how big the slum area is in Mumbai. The good news is that the Government is trying its level best to provide slum dwellers with houses. Nowadays builders are providing SRA projects to slum dwellers and they are redeveloping the area. But for a SRA project, you need SRA eligibility documents. Without these eligibility criteria, you won’t be able to get SRA flats.

1. Ration Card

2. Photo Pass issued by Collector

3. Electricity bill

4. Election ID

5. Rent deposit receipt

Other than this, you need important documents such as:

1. Domicile certificate for buying an SRA flat.

2. A member or the family cannot own a house within Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) limits.

3. The buyer or his family and the seller will not be able to buy SRA flat once after purchasing a SRA flat once.

4. The buyer should be from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), , Lower Income Group (LIG) or Middle Income Group (MIG).

5. The sale deed must have the name of both husband and wife.
