For sale of joint property one buyer and two seller buyer has deposited entire 1% tds in one seller PAN. How it will be revised so that the total TDS amount will be deposited in two challans equally for two seller PAN.

Hey pal,

For the sale of a joint property, you can claim the TDS amount by using challan type 281 for deposit of TDS/TCS. You will need to quote the correct 10-digit Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN), and name & address of the deductor on each challan used for depositing tax. You can even tag other sellers under various sections of TDS.
