Before getting to the process, let me give you some information regarding the use of this product. The Dr. Fixit LW+ is a liquid waterproofing material consisting of polymers, additives and plasticising agents. It finds its usage as an additive for mortar, plasters and cement concrete. It helps in eliminating the chances of concrete deterioration.
Now that you know what is the purpose of using this waterproofing substance, let me tell you the mixing ratio as well. In every 50 kg cement bag, add 200 ml of LW+. Basically, LW+ should be applied to the plaster, mortar and concrete in every inch of the house.
Dr Fixit LW+ using method
Here’s the step-by-step procedure for the method of application. Kindly have a look.
First mix sand, gravel, cement and water in the mixer.
Then, add 200 ml LW+ in 3 to 4 litres of water.
Add this mixture into the concrete and stir it well for 120 seconds.
Put the concrete in any container and go for the consistency test.
You are done.
The consistency is checked only for big buildings. For a small construction, you can skip the test. I hope this helps you in understanding the process.
