1. Tuesday: It is said that Tuesday is ruled by Mars and is connected with anger or tension. Cleaning on this day might bring stress or negative energy into the home.

2. Thursday: This day is linked with Lord Vishnu and is considered holy. Cleaning the house on Thursday is believed to reduce success or growth.

3. New Moon Day: According to Vastu, cleaning the house on Amavasya can disturb the natural energy, so it's better to avoid it.

Auspicious days:

There are certain days that are considered to be auspicious for this task. According to Vastu, the best days to clean the pooja room are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. These days are associated with the planets Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter, respectively, and are considered to be favourable. The Pooja room should not only be kept clean, but it should also be decorated with fresh flowers, diyas, and agarbatti.
