Reasons Why Water Not Coming from Geyser
Here are some reasons why water is not coming from your geyser:
Overhead Tank
If there is no water in the overhead tank of your house, there’s no way water would go into the geyser.
So, the first thing you should check is the water pressure from your shower head and taps.
If they are also struggling to release water, check the tank and fill it up.
Valves
If there’s water in the overhead tank, the next thing to check is the valve that is supplying water to the geyser.
Two valves bring cold water to the geyser. One is on the bathroom wall and the other is on the geyser.
Two separate valves take hot water from the geyser to the shower head. One takes it to the water heater and the other to the bathroom wall.
So, the issue can be with the change in position of one or multiple valves.
Check the position of each valve and ensure they are completely open. If the valves are clogged because of limescale, you’d need a plumber to fix it.
