Hi,
Sec. 29(4) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act of 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") states that the authority has 60 days to swiftly resolve any issues that are brought before it.
The Act stipulates that whether a complaint is handled by the authority or an adjudicating officer (AO), it must be resolved within 60 (sixty) days. Many buyers, however, are forced to wait for a decision long after the statutory limit has passed.
In accordance with the legislation, a record of the reasons must be prepared when further time is needed if the complaint is not resolved within the requisite 60 days.
