Recently I bought a 2BHK flat of 1300 square feet on rent in Indira Nagar. The monthly rent of my flat is Rs 44,000. However, my friend took the same but in Electronics City, and for her the monthly rent is Rs 24,500. I asked my owner why it was so different. He told me that several factors affect rent prices in our area.
Firstly the living expenses are generally higher in our area. In addition, there is a high demand for housing in our area because of its close proximity to top schools, hospitals, metro stations, and companies. Moreover, the availability of amenities like parks, restaurants, and shopping centres may be seen in our area which makes it a desirable location, which raises the cost of living even more.
