There used to be very few apartment complexes in Goregaon.

However, now there are many developers who are making use of the region's advantages. The main reason Goregaon has grown is that many people who can't afford to live elsewhere, such as the Bandra-Andheri belt, can reside in Goregaon as it is one of the most affordable localities in Mumbai. Due to falling real estate prices, developers are constructing large township projects and smaller complexes that will eventually provide middle-class families with luxurious homes and other facilities.

• Accessibility:

Roads are in worse shape than ever; you will not be able to locate a road without potholes. Even though Goregaon station is only 4-5 kilometres away from Royal Palms, it takes over 30-45 minutes to get there thanks to subpar public transportation. Even though the area appears to be accessible geographically, access by road is worse.
