The main reason Goregaon has grown is that many people who can't afford to live elsewhere, such as the Bandra-Andheri belt, can reside in Goregaon as it is one of the most affordable localities in Mumbai. Roads are in worse shape than ever; you will not be able to locate a road without potholes. Even though Goregaon station is only 4-5 kilometres away from Royal Palms, it takes over 30-45 minutes to get there thanks to subpar public transportation. Since it can sometimes take more than an hour to commute from Goregaon station, many offices are closing in this locality.
