I can give you the reasons behind bubbling of paint on walls. See bubbling can occur due to several reasons like the presence of excessive moisture, high temperatures during painting and more. What I will do is I will list down all the reasons and explain what you must do to avoid bubble formation. You can find the reasons below:

Reason for Wall Bubbles after Painting

  1. The most common reason for this is the presence of too much moisture. This results in a loss of adhesion. When moisture gets locked between paint layers, air pockets form where the paint releases from the wall. So, you need to fix any leaks or moisture issues before you begin.

  2. Another reason can be that you painted when it was too hot. Extremely high temperatures can lead to paint drying unevenly and that can cause bubbling.

  3. One more reason why your wall paint bubbled can be that you didn’t clean the walls first. When walls have grease and dirt and you paint over such a surface, this can lead to bubbling.

I hope you now know why does wall bubble when painted.
