Who must allot usable car parking?
For my flat,I was allocated car parking on the 1st level of a lift-type parking system. However, this parking system has never been operational since its installation and has remained non-functional from the beginning. In fact, the system is already damaged and cannot be operated. Also my parking slot, situated on the 1st level, does not have sufficient vertical clearance to accommodate a standard vehicle. But as per builder, as in the sale deed it is mentioned that – “ a common car parking will be given for all members in the two basement parking” - he have never promised me any ALLOTTED parking space. He has arranged parking and handed over the possession of the common parking to the society. I would like to know that in this case (1) it is the responsibility of Housing Society to allot car parking? & if it is their responsibility, if sufficient space is not given how can housing society can allot a parking space? (2)Builder do not have any responsibility for allotment of usable car parking to me? Can any one please guide. Thanks in advance
