Who is the designer of Rashtrapati Bhavan?

Hug Keeling served as the structure's lead engineer, and Edwin Landseer Lutyens served as its principal architect. Contractor Aaron-Al-Rashid completed the majority of the building's construction process. This structure's construction was once estimated to cost 4 million pounds sterling. But because the structure took 17 years to construct, the cost jumped to Rs. 18.28 lakhs. Rs. 1.44 million was spent on the building of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The number of homes built for staff members in the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Mughal Garden complexes is also taken into account.

This is the greatest estate in the entire globe, this stunning structure contains 340 rooms. The property's construction required the usage of 700 million bricks and around 85,000 cubic metres of stone, with the use of iron being equal to that of the construction. Viceroy House was the previous name for Rashtrapati Bhawan before 1950. Rashtrapati Bhavan was built over a period of 17 years, beginning in 1912 and ending in 1929, according to its history. The task of creating this was given to British architect Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens.

What are the beautiful attractions there?

The Rashtrapati Bhawan is a rare example of Mughal and British construction and has several special features, including a Mughal garden behind it. A number of the greatest flower types, including several foreign flower species, are only found in this 13-acre garden. Annually, it only opens to the general public between February and March. Anyone can go there. Approximately 29,000 workers were employed during Rashtrapati Bhavan's development.

I hope you understood who designed Rashtrapati Bhavan.
