Usually, oil-based paints, epoxy, acrylic latex, and other moisture-resistant or anti-mould paints are used for wet walls. For my home, I have used the Berger Dampstop Advanced. I think this is one of the best paint for wet walls. This paint offers a long lasting warranty on dampness, and efflorescence. It is a great waterproofing/damp proofing barrier solution that partially penetrates the substrate and forms a regulated coating on its surface to prevent the substrate's porosities.

Why is Berger Dampstop Advanced Considered One of the Best Paint for Wet Walls?

The main reasons why I chose Berger Dampstop Advanced is that:

  1. As long as there are no ongoing leaks from hidden pipes, it can be used in areas with high moisture content.

  2. Dampstop waterproofing effects up to 4 bar negative water pressure.

  3. Stops wall from salt leaching

Apart from Berger Dampstop Advanced, you can also choose Nippon Paint's Hydroshield exterior. The external walls can be shielded from moisture by applying this specially designed waterproof paint. I hope this helps!
