Where to keep money plant in office?

Last year, during Christmas week, I received a money plant from my Secret Santa. I was very happy and decided to take it home but my colleagues suggested I keep it in the office only. A few of the seniors had this plant in their homes and seemed to know money plant should be kept in which direction. It should always be kept in the northern or eastern part of the space. Luckily, my desk was in the north direction so I kept it there.

These are some major aspects I was suggested regarding the placement of the money plant and I tried to follow as many as possible. I would suggest you do the same.
