I believe in Vastu and have recently built an individual house in my hometown. Some finishing works, like door fitting, tiling, and painting, are still pending. Since it’s an east-facing house, I checked some East facing house main door Vastu tips. According to Vastu, I found the main door should ideally be in the fifth pada (part) on the east side. 1. In case the 5th pada is too small, it’s okay to use padas 3 and 4. But it’s important to still include pada 5 along with them for the best results.

3. One specific point is that if someone has to use pada 1, there should be at least a 6-inch gap from the Northeast wall. The main door should not touch the corner.

4. If padas 3, 4, or 5 are not an option, padas 6 and 7 can be used, but including pada 5 is still recommended for better Vastu alignment.

5. Avoid padas 8 and 9 completely. They are believed to bring illness and negative energy into the house.
