My friend has recently bought a mountain land in Himachal Pradesh. He told me that you have to be very careful while investing in mountain land because some of them are not habitable at all. You should check out plots on different real estate platforms like magicbricks, 99acres, etc. You should also talk to the local property dealers for a better understanding. In my opinion, you will find good mountain land in places like Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Uttrakhand, etc. However, just remember that the laws to buy such land may differ from place to place.

Where can I actually find and buy a mountain land for residence which has a good view and healthy environment? all the ads I see of "mountain lands" just looks like a dried-out farm with a terrible view, nothing like the freshness you would expect.
