As per the Centre For Disease Control, if you are diagnosed with an asymptomatic form of coronavirus, then you can discontinue self-isolation 10 days after the date of their 1st positive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 RNA.
If you are a severely immunocompromised patient who was asymptomatic throughout their infectious period, then you can discontinue the transmission-based precautions 10 to 20 days after the date of their 1st positive viral diagnostic test.
If you had mild symptoms and were told to isolate yourself at home and follow precautionary measures, they can discontinue if after at least 24 hours have passed since the resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medicines or a minimum of 10 days have passed since the onset of the symptoms or when other noticeable symptoms have improved.
Some people with severe illness can produce a replication-competent virus even after 10 days, so you might have to isolate yourself at home for up to 20 days after the onset of the symptoms. You should always consult with your treating doctor or infectious diseases specialist to help you decide on the right time to end home isolation.
