As far as I know, the Tamil Nadu government had extended the regularisation of unapproved layout and plot scheme till February 28, 2021 more than two years after the scheme ended. The one-time amnesty scheme to regularise unauthorised plots - The Tamil Nadu Regularisation of Unapproved Layouts and Plots Rules, 2017 - was launched in May 2017 and closed in November 2018.
