What thickness plywood to use for kitchen cabinets?

2 weeks ago, I hired a carpenter to update my kitchen cabinets with a new one. He informed me the standard thickness of plywood for kitchen cabinets is 15 mm or 19 mm. He further explained when it comes to kitchen cabinets, both of them are consistently the most dependable and secure option. I have added the benefits he informed me of using this thickness.
