We built a well in our home in Dhanbad a few years ago. As we believe in Vastu Shastra heavily, the well position as per Vastu is something I know about. So, let me tell you about it in detail here.
What is the Well in Front of House Vastu?
The Vastu also says you should construct the well before building the house. This holds numerous benefits. One advantage is that you use the water from the well to build the house.
Before you begin constructing the well, perform a Bhoomi puja. It is considered highly auspicious, according to Vastu.
Moreover, you should perform a Ganga puja on the water before the construction of the well begins.
Vastu Shastra says a well should be dug in the northeastern corner of your house. Doing this helps in bringing wealth, fame, name and good health to the members of the family.
The directions to avoid while constructing a well include, the southwest, south, northwest and the west.
When constructing a borewell or a tubewell, the ideal directions include the north, northeast and east.
