As far as I know, the Chief Promoter has to call the society’s First General Body Meeting within the first 3 months of the society’s registration. The election is one of the top priorities of the meeting. Regular elections are usually held once every 5 years as per the Bye-Laws. However, I suggest you consult a legal expert to know more about the same.
