I think you should consult a vastu expert to know the placement of the commode in the bathroom and sink in the kitchen. As per my knowledge, the commode should be in the Southeast or Northwest direction and the face of the person using the facilities should be in North or South.
As far as the kitchen sink is concerned, it should be placed in the northeast direction.
